Oh God. When Lester gets Kipnis out despite having issues with baserunner Maddon's place in the HoF will be sealed.

I love Joe but this is pretty ridiculous. Kyle just struck out his last batter

The only question now is does the baserunner go to second on the first pitch or the 2nd. So, so dumb.

And can someone explain to me when Lester became unable to throw the ball to first base?

I wonder why teams don't often open up their park for away postseason games and show games on their huge scoreboards (for a nominal fee.) I also wonder why putting Lester in with a runner on first is a good idea.
Indians were doing this this series actually

Can the pulled starter ever be awarded a win if he doesn't go the full 5? Seems unfair.

On top of that, Chicago loses Contreras' bat for the rest of the game because Lester needs his binkie behind the plate, and his binkie tosses it into right field because Lester can't play his position. I literally can't believe Maddon made this move. The Cubs are really going to blow this.

Wow, Kipnis plows into Rizzo and it's like he hit a wall. Rizzo barely budges and Kipnis drops to the ground.
