I think we might be playing up the concussion angle a bit. He has concerns perhaps more than most, but he wasn't hit by a bat, foul ball or errant 100 mph fastball. It was a bounced pitch that caught him. Not saying that couldn't affect a guy with Grandpa Rossi's history, but not the most vicious of blows.
I'm not sure either but he did fall backwards in a rather dazed fashion

Really? I mean, lets say he held it too long. Kluber was clearly struggling and that throw isn't the difference in the game. I would say that Tito is even vindicated because his pitching looks gassed overall.
Tito pitched everyone on short rest. That resulted in a lot of the gassing

I guess I can get that Lester can't throw to first for a pickoff throw, but I feel like it should be a much bigger story that the guy literally can't field a grounder or a bunt either. I mean, how do they not talk about it constantly while he pitches? Why don't opponents bunt it at him more often? So many questions.

I want to declare in this thread that I was really bummed when the Sox traded Rizzo. I KNEW he would be as good as Gonzalez, but at the time, I felt like I would have been ridiculed for suggesting that.

You should have more self-confidence.

I think Tito's strategy of riding the elite arms in the wake of pitching staff injuries with playoff increase in days off was a good one, even if it was risky.

But he's been too slow with the hook in this game a couple times. Probably because he knows his guys are basically dead, but tack on runs against tired pitchers are killing them in this game.

My issue with the strategy is that Tomlin and Bauer aren't elite arms. They're far from sure things on full rest, less so on short rest. You have Merritt and Salazar for Game 5, which could have changed everything.
