Both lines seem about 3 points high to me honestly, but I think the reasoning is that Denver is considered about ~2.5 to 3 points better than the Patriots (which is consistent with the spread when they played head to head), and that San Diego and the Colts are similar quality.

I don't understand how the Fox crew didn't even mention the hold. Aldon Smith was having his neck wrenched by the Green Bay OL. San Francisco got royally hosed there.

The NFL should probably change its homefield rules. I don't like San Fran, but they shouldn't be forced to go into Green Bay having won 3.5 more games.
