Man, KC weather is not disappointing
Today through Tuesday
As someone who attended the '4-degree game' playoff game on a cold Saturday night at Gillette (vs. the Titans) almost exactly 20 years ago...

I highly recommend these individuals to sell / give their tickets away.

It was brutal and it took 3 days to thaw out via baths, hot soup, tea...

Never again.

Ha, I had the complete opposite experience. I was well prepared and wasn't really impacted by the weather.

Miami screwing the pooch and blowing the division sends them to frigid KC and gives us the Buffalo snow game. Good stuff, if Miami won would've had a lame game in Miami.

I was at the 2007 NFCC Giants @ Packers game which was the 3rd coldest game in NFL history . Froze my ass off even with battery powered socks but still a top-three sports experience of my life.

Guys, just use NFLbite.com. Have an adblocker installed (I like uBlock Origin and AdBlocker Ultimate). It's not perfect, but it'll get you there. Buffstream's streams are pretty reliable.
+1. If the buffstream link isn't working, then topstreams always is (once you get past the 2-3 popups at the start).

Miami was 1-5 against teams with winning records this season, their strength of victory was 3rd worst in the league, only behind Washington and NYG. Hill isn't 100%, and both Waddle and Mostert are questionable. That plus the proverbial warm weather team playing in the arctic...never say never (especially with KC looking decidedly mortal this year), but the Dolphins pulling this out would be easily the most shocking upset of the weekend for me (even though GB and Pitt are bigger underdogs).

Same here. I dressed in full snowmobile gear (minus the helmet) and never got cold. Of course the whole place was standing the entire time. My feet did get a little cold, but walking around at halftime cured that quickly. A couple funny things:
We tailgated, but when the salsa froze before we could eat it, we sat in the truck to warm up a bit. Oh, and the beers were pretty slushy.
I was wearing a ski mask. When we got inside the stadium, I got a beer from a vendor walking around. That vendor asked for my ID. I mean, I was wearing a ski mask. I could have been 10 or 100 years old and they wouldn’t have known.

I tailgated with a group that had an electrician - we had a tent with side covers, a generator, lights, and heat fans. We got it up to a solid 50-55 degrees in there so I remember only wearing a sweatshirt while we tailgated. I did singe my Seymour jersey sitting too close to the heat fan.

That said, when I went outside the tent to pee… yeah nuff said.

When I was in college, I attended this game. Never was so cold in my life. I had 4 or 5 layers on everything, we showed up at the start of the 2nd quarter and left late in the 3rd quarter when it was 21-3. And we lingered in the heated bathrooms as long as we could at halftime, and I was still frozen when we got home. No interest in ever attending another game like that again.

Man Hart Lee Dykes beasted that game. Too bad he was wasted because he was on that team. Also, if you asked me for a typical Marc Wilson line - it would be that exact one. Ditto Bob Perryman.

56 passing attempts by the Pats!!!!

I’m not gonna lie - at that ‘07 NFCC I spent the entire 2nd and 3rd quarters in Curley’s Pub inside the stadium. With the wind chill it was -24!

Per The Athletic:

"As of Thursday, the National Weather Service (NWS) and AccuWeather listed a low of around -8 degrees on Saturday night. Tom Kines, a senior meteorologist for AccuWeather, said the wind chill could mean temperatures feel like they’re between -20 and -30 degrees. If the frigid forecast pans out, the matchup could be one of the coldest games in NFL history."

This can't be a good idea for the fans or the players. And Peacock only is a joke.

That was the most I felt sorry for any person just standing on a sideline. He looked like he could keel over and die at any point from exposure.

That said, I love playoff games in which weather is a factor. I remember that Chargers-Bengals AFC Championship Game in early 1982 in which the freezing wind literally knocked passes. And of course, the Fog Bowl of 1988 and 2002's Snow Bowl!

I got railroaded into purchasing Peacock to watch the English Premier League. So if anyone has thoughts of getting into soccer this year, maybe keep Peacock for a month or two. I’m more upset that the game won’t be on in many restaurants and bars tonight being only on a stream.

Was that the game where his face was covered in vaseline? Misery.

$6 isn’t much I’m starting the rethink not getting it
But would be better if there was free trial option
(I will see Poker Face and a couple other things but wanted to wait until I pause Hulu or Netflix because there are only 24 hours in a day)

You could also watch The Holdovers on Peacock. $6 is cheaper than a ticket to most theaters these days.

No Sunday early afternoon game?

Usually that would suck but it’s ok this week I think

There's more snow in forecast Sunday into Monday for Buffalo, so what happens then?

Lake-effect snow and intense squalls, accumulating an additional 3-6 inches; cold

My wife asked me last night what games are being played today and I told her, but I said that the night game is only on Peacock so we can't watch it. She said, "Oh, we get that." I never knew. Been wanting to watch Parks and Recreation for a long time, so I'm now a few episodes in.

I was pretty bundled up and decently comfortable, though I distinctly remember two things:
1. The pain in the bottom of my feet when I walked after my little ski boot heaters stopped producing heat
2. The frigid cold whenever I took my mask down to eat my beer

Cheaper than a value meal at McDonalds or a large or whatever they call it at Starbucks or a couple donuts and a coffee at Dunkin.
I don’t buy drink soda or eat donuts or get coffee at dunk

Also mostly irrelevant but every once in a blue moon i would get a Frappucino

Do we know when wc weekend will be next year?
If it’s 12th or earlier, that would be good

But you know NBC will make the peacock game monday next year just to screw with people who bought full year now

Man I was looking to a snow game on TV.

Now it’s scheduled for a time when many will be traveling home from the holiday. Bummer.

Probably gonna get a month now and then a month end of July for Olympics instead of the year

But gonna wait a few hours to see if they do a better one month deal

I should be able to fit in Poker Face and Holdovers and some other stuff in

But Hulu at 1.99 (2.25 after tax) was a much better deal

Kickoff during the Blake Walsh playoff game was -6 with wind chills at -25.
That was a day game though. I looked at the weather and the WC could be -30 by the end of the game.

I saw the comment by Tua how he's not going to wear gloves... that seems like a really really bad idea.
