Just curious why that scrum didn't result in a flag when they were calling some pretty ticky tack unsportsmanlike like earlier.
Nantz and Simms were the parade commentators in The Emperor's New ClothesDeCastro was throwing leg kicks to the helmet. No flag and Simms brags about the play
Suspensions post game would be fine.DeCastro was throwing leg kicks to the helmet. No flag and Simms brags about the play
I didn't notice any movement after he got the feet in. I say TD stands.ball's moving after he gets his feet down, i don't think he got two feet in with control.
Looked like he did, actually, on the second grasp with ball wedged firmly against his leg.Not a catch. Didn't have possession and then both feet.
Once it was against his ass/leg he had full control all the way I thought. How is that a catch? He was bobbling it all the way out of bounds.
I just don't understand the rule. Great play no matter what.Once it was against his ass/leg he had full control all the way I thought.
I'm actually more concerned about the KC defense/special teams than I am about Alex Smith and Maclin/Kelce.KC's offense consists of a mediocre QB, good TE, and some decent RBs. Pats stop the run and they win.
Why do you say that? He maintained possession when he hit the ground, which is usually where it gets tricky. That was great, but can't be a catch based on the standards the league has set, unfortunately.
I can't argue with that.I just don't understand the rule. Great play no matter what.
So you're just going to quit in the middle of next season?Next NE loss, I'm done with this shitty league
Hope soSo you're just going to quit in the middle of next season?
Would have made it a three-possession lead. Why go for 2 when the XP puts you up 16?
I saw it same way you did. Great catch. Love how Simms and Nantz are dissecting what went through his mind while I'm fairly certain it was just athletic reflex in trying to secure the ball. What are people seeing? I thought he controlled it with one hand (with a leg assist for part) the whole way. You don't need two hands for a catch.
