Im guessing it's nerves and anxiousness. Would make senseWhat's his secret to such on demand regularity? Inquiring minds want to know.
Unfamiliar with the pregame dump thing? What's his secret to such on demand regularity? Inquiring minds want to know.
Agreed. I don't miss him at all, even though he made some big shots as a Celtic. He gone!
Morris is such a dirty player - nice not having to root for him anymore...
Morris should sit the first two games of the next series. That was definitely worse than the nut-kick that earned Draymond Green a one-game suspension during the WCF a few years ago, and like that incident, this one didn’t happen out of the blue. And now he's ejected. And he should be, that was a cheap shot, on top of all the other cheap shots.
Both of them with a cool 73 TS% for the series.Murray is 31-54 from 3pt land this series.
Cheat code.
For the record, the nut-kick did not earn him a suspension during the WCF. They hosed OKC by allowing him to play after the nut-kick, then later hosed GS in the Finals by suspending him for lightly caressing LeBron’s balls, which LeBron had explicitly requested him to do by tea-bagging him while he was lying on the floor. The latter act was basically a tender moment between two consenting adults — until LeBron ran crying to Kiki Vandeweghe and begging for Draymond’s suspension.Morris should sit the first two games of the next series. Not that he can’t get stronger, but absorbs contact very well now. He may be behind Kyrie as the silkiest finisher in the league right now. That 360 lay up from last game was something else.Murray is so smooth. He’s two summers in the gym away from being an easy 25 every night. Needs to build up strength and endurance, but the ability is there.
How would a different outcome have led KD to not bolt to the Bay?For the record, the nut-kick did not earn him a suspension during the WCF. The King got his way, of course, and Steven Adams and OKC got the shaft — doubly so when the outcomes of the WCF and Finals allowed KD to bolt to the Bay.
Hard to say ... it’s generally assumed he would have stayed in OKC had they made the finals, and not joined GS had they won their second straight finals after going 73-9. But who knows for sure. KD is a complicated dude. How would a different outcome have led KD to not bolt to the Bay?
It will be tougher but Dallas showed you can feast on Jackson and even Shamet. The Clippers will need Beverley next round. And this is where the Clippers will face a test with Zubac and Harrell having to deal with an elite big in either Jokic or Gobert. One thing about Denver vs Utah is that both teams, due to some key injuries, are forced to play some all O/no D guys in Clarkson and Porter Jr. respectively, and those guys are getting killed on the defensive end by Murray/Mitchell on switches. Next round against the Clippers, it will not be as easy to find such favorable matches.
I'd say it's more than a "shot". The clipps have yet to put together 4 straight quarters. I dont see them having much of a chance if, big if, they can even get to a matchup vs Lebron and ADIt will be tougher but Dallas showed you can feast on Jackson and even Shamet. Before the bubble I thought that the Clippers would come out of the West and still do. This may be a perception thing and therefore entirely incorrect - they really seem unfocused in their play at present. I can't see a Denver or Jazz team knocking them off but the Lakers or even the Rockets have a shot.
As incredible of a back and forth we are seeing between Murray and Mitchell we have to keep in mind that these games are being played in a different environment than any others.Murray is an odd player. It seems like every time I check he's scoring 40+, but has averaged just 18-19 ppg over the last couple years.
Although it may just be me - he didn't hit 40 once during the regular season, though he's done it twice this series (possibly on his way to a 3rd tonight).
That certainly seems to be the case, as the shooting numbers in the bubble indicate, but it’s fun to watch this historic shot-making.As incredible of a back and forth we are seeing between Murray and Mitchell we have to keep in mind that these games are being played in a different environment than any others.
Tunnel vision and shooting backgrounds do matter......for some players they make for extreme results than what we’ve seen from that player in the past.
Except for Pat Riley, that is.I can't believe I am saying this...but this Heat team is extremely likeable.
