They did not lose this game because of the officiating, but boy did the officiating absolutely suck. Again, they don't lose this game because of the officiating, but this is just a piss poor job by the officials.
Because the refs to day decided before the game to make sure Miami won.
It's a complete farce and I hope BB rips them all new assholes afterwards.
You never see that. It seems theoretical at best. If the whistle doesn’t go, they give the runner where he got to. I have seen the whistle go where I thought forward progress was not stopped, and that ends the play. But I have not seem them bring the ball back to some pre-whistle spot. “Forward progress” before the whistle seems like a no-fumble thing.

I don't think I've ever read a game thread where you aren't accusing the refs of screwing your team.
NFL officials are also instructed not to run with the whistle in their mouths. So they have to locate the whistle and put it in their mouths as well.
For what's it's worth I think his forward progress was stopped but not until right before the ball came out. Thought the whistle was well-timed. Don't even think there is smoke on this play besides some sour grapes.

Yeah, that's 100% what it looked like. They couldn't pick that one up so they shifted it.
I can understand why the players on the field took exception to that hit because it LOOKED bad, but it was pretty obviously clean. No clue what the unsportsmanlike call was for.
The Patriots went 1-9 on third downs and had half the Dolphins' yards. Refs sucked, but they lost because they were thoroughly outplayed.

I hate to say it, but McDaniel respects BB and seems cool. No way he does that.
Congrats to all of Dolphins fans, you got a win over a team with more than 2 wins for the first time. You and the Panthers managed it the same week. I’m not bitter
That play I get, but the zebras sucked today legitimately. It was a very bad day for them.
The Pats had to play with one hand tied behind their backs because in every big spot the refs made calls that favored Miami. Maybe they don't win anyway but let's not downplay the impact the officials had on this game.
