I can't say with 100% certainty but he was holding the same area he just had surgery on and that would be three major back surgeries on a 34 yo.

He has had back surgery in two consecutive years and can't/doesn't play golf even though he is a scratch.

He really did. turning his surgically repaired back into the blitzer was like an old Mike Tysons punch out boss who has one Achilles heel and so naturally exposes it all the time

Could be a contusion, spinous process fracture, soft tissue injury...kidneys are vulnerable to that type of hit. None of those would be season ending or career threatening. Obviously if his surgically repaired back is re-injured then it's a different story altogether.

I get that part of it, but my Dallas antipathy is exhausted. They have too many players easy to root for, and a sympathetic HC too
