Is also helps when his fumble doesn't get recovered by the defense and none of his regrettable throws become INTs.

His mistakes were getting massively, unsustainably punished. He wasn't as bad as he was looking. He is not as good as he looked today. He still made mistakes, they just didn't get punished today.
