do people really call it the see-link? Not the clink? With jokes about being judged by twelves? Come on, man.

Audibly its known as "The clink" but spelling I've always seen it as "The C-Link" since its Century Link field

Pretty impressed with the pregame segment on Jimmy Graham. Used PFF (insert bag of salt) and a nice little video package on how awful Graham is as an inline blocker.

Could they have telegraphed the run any more on that first play?  1st down, I-formation, motion the slot receiver over to the line...

Gruden: "Those plays by Wilson don't show up on the stat sheet."

Really? That's a shitty stat sheet then.

Can you really call what Caldwell does coaching?

Edit:Absolutely no reason for a comma

Gruden thinks that since Wilson does hard count he learned it from Aaron Rodgers.

Because he invented that.

How in the world did Jones not bring him down?

Had shades of a play that shall not be mentioned by a far less agile QB.

I'm not sure there's another QB who gets half as many hard count, offsides, snap, throw it deep sequences as Rodgers.

On the other side, take Rodgers not to throw a pick, especially at home.
I never bet that one. Streaks gotta end sometime, and I don't want to be out cash when it does.

This is the Wilson I had nightmares about seeing in the Super Bowl last year; scrambling for first downs, getting away from sacks and heaving the ball downfield for touchdowns.

Thankfully outside of a play or two here or there, those nightmares didn't come true.

That's not an accident. The Patriots played contain and forced him to be a pocket passer. When the play doesn't break down he is not as dangerous.

These GMC ads are the worst. "Our trucks are like a well-shaved man, or a fastball in the corner." What?

They have supplanted Denis "cock-a-doodle-doo, pal" Leary in the truck ad douchiness leaderboard.

If Wilson can get any protection at all from his O-lIne ...
Ok yeah this is bad.

I don't think you can ever expect a plus o-line given your roster construction and the advantages Russ gives here but they should be semi competent.

These offensive linemen on both teams are horrendous

I'm beginning to wonder if O-line play suffers disproportionately compared to other units from the new rules about contact in practices in pre-season.

It sorta makes intuitive sense, given the coordinated effort that the play requires. I'm not seeing any way to simulate game situations in a realistic fashion as compared to the way you can, for example, practice route running or something.
