Uhhh Bradley recommended he come to the field off crutches because it is better for the team?? No. No he didn't. Nope. It means the crutches aren't necessary, probably just the brace.

I took it to mean a player on crutches might be slow to get out of the way.

Maybe, but I can't imagine Ben's much faster without them.

But think about how easy it would be to get your heals up

Parcells didn't let injured players hang around -- thought it made the active guys think too much about the risks. I'll bet the thinking is something like that.

Awesome run by Bell.

Yeah, I like Brandon Marshall more because of that commercial.
Malcolm Butler's pick was the most shocking thing I've seen on a football field until I saw Brandon Marshall catch a ball, look around and then lateral it off an opponents face.

Would have lol'd if Vick got hit with a holding there.
You get away with that one every time. You'd think he was a fullback or something.

So who was that sack on? I imagine either flacco or the center fucked up the protection but I don't know enough to know who blew it.

You know what this broadcast needs? Some shots of Big Ben clapping on the sideline. Can we get about 12 dozen of those?

Without knowing the blocking call, it looks like it was a slide protection right, which means if there's an extra man coming from the left Flacco has to recognize it and get rid of the ball.

Make that 5. What the hell happened to Ravens D? (I mean besides Suggs).
It's the old-school "establish the run, then throw the ball." Steelers' line is beating up the Suggs-less Ravens' front.

Can we get rid of Scobee yet??

Here
Harbaugh told him to jump offsides and hope they wouldn't see it. Which is smart...yet deceptive.

Really? Not even going to make an attempt at getting the TD with 26 seconds and a timeout?

What a stupid playcall. Take some shots at he endzone there, Vick is playing well.
I disagree. After the bad sack Vick took on the last drive, which cost us a FG try, I wouldn't trust him with no TOs.

I don't love the screen call, but that was their attempt -- the coaches thought the Ravens were vulnerable to that play.

Thanks, When should flacco see this though? If his first read is to his right does he have to notice there are no linemen in front of him? Or should he have picked it up pre snap?

By the way, I love Chevy's "best in class V8 towing" claim -- literally true, because Ford beats them with a V6 and doesn't even make a V8 anymore.

Tomlin may be in the bottom 3 of SB winning coaches.
Players seem to love playing for him without him being a goofy players coach.

Haven't kept up. Do they not make the super duty any longer?

The guy is playing well and put together a solid drive to get you in FG range, have some faith in him. Playing conservatively because you're scared to death of your backup QB fucking up is how you let Baltimore off the hook after a terrible first half.

Why not try that play after another shot or two in the end zone?

Walking to the T after work tonight, I saw a young guy with a "Ray Lewis killed a Man" t-shirt on... in Steelers colors.
