He got bodied by a good defender in Howard. But that happens sometimes. What you can't do is throw it when your guy has lost the battle so completely.

Belichick wouldn’t draft Caleb. He’d be worried about the contract he’d have to pay if he’s any good after his rookie deal.
It's possible. He can't throw over defensive players. Mac can't throw to the sidelines. They are screwed.
The defense has honestly been fine. They've stepped up. So did special teams. What's frustrating with this offense is that they're asked to do the bare minimum and still consistently come up short.
It hasn't always been pretty, but the defense has held arguably the best offense in football to 17 points through 3 quarters, down 3 CBs, and with the offense being complete trash (including turnovers).
Defense has been good again (with 3 corners down, too) - but it doesn't matter when you score 3 fucking points in 3 quarters. 3 points!
Which, on fourth down in a two score game is fine. But first down after a big conversion, after the special teams play of the year so far? It’s so bad.
We were just SO spoiled, for SO long. A QB who never beats himself, always makes the right read, who never makes an all-too-human fuck-up... they basically don't exist. Rodgers, back when he was alive, was right there.
Yeah this game has all the makings of an upset but the offense didn't get the memo.
Pop could've died there, I honestly think the Dolphins were caught off guard by him not calling for a fair catch.
I'm not saying Zappe is the answer, but he did make a stagnant offense look fun and exciting for a minute last year.
They were down 6 points with multiple chances to go ahead last week. Mac Jones ain't it.
