Sanu just trapped a ball and Riveron will almost certainly overturn it yet we will forget about that reversal in twenty seconds.
That money was spread out and led to a Super Bowl, so I think it can be argued either way can’t it?
Plus the two cheap starters they got. As good as Jones has been, I’d do the trade again.
Yeah I was wondering about that too, I think it probably hit the ground but you can't see it.
Hue Jackson has averaged three wins per year as a HC and has 9.. Bill Belichick has 263. Belichick would need to retire right now, and Jackson would have to coach 85 years at his current pace to catch BB. Only problems are that Jackson is trending down and Belichick is not retiring so it may take longer.
I was trying to think of the Stanton comp on Miami but there isn't one. Not even Suh.
Since that trade happened, the Pats won the Super Bowl later in the year, and the following year, they went 13-3, have the #1 seed in the playoffs and are the favorite to win the Super Bowl again.
It's literally impossible to do better than the Pats have done since they traded Chandler.
And FTR, I was a huge Chandler fan, and hated the trade at the time. I thought he would have set the NFL record for sacks at some point in his career if he stayed here (assuming he didn't continue to get held and tackled on almost every play).
Harbaugh's seat has to be SLIGHTLY warm heading into next year if they miss the playoffs. Would be three straight years at home in January.
