He discussed this on Wednesday's Pardon My Take - he claims he and Al match the excitement level of the game. This game is not very free flowing for a high scoring affair so I kinda get their vibe.

I THINK the idea with that non-call is he didn’t ‘grasp’ the facemask for the purposes of the rule.
BTW, bit surprised Pete didn’t go for two there, I remember he tried to do that v the Pats in 2016 with the Seahawks up 7 after the TD. Probably makes more sense if you know the opponent has one meaningful possession left, though, which isn’t the case here.

Really bad performance. Shudder to think what San Francisco, Detroit, Philly(in their upcoming game) might do to them.
