Detroit has no timeouts to challenge lol. Game is over, they can kneel.
Like it matters , all the other spot calls that have been reviewed were held up anyway

Boger reffing a playoff game this year would mean the NFL guves zero fucks about officiating quality.

salivating at a potential two home games and Arizona Super Bowl path

And that's why you always save a timeout for the end of the 4th quarter!

Is there a German compound word to describe the feeling of enjoying six and a half hours of NFL Red Zone and knowing your favorite team has yet to play?

Really? You think that was a good spot? Likely would have punted and the Lions would have had a last shot.

To be clear, not implying that Bogar was on the take.

And not saying they would have won, but for that call. Especially since they needed 8 to tie.

But, if that call had been made correctly, the game wasn't over and we might have seen another Alcoa Fantastic Finish.

Bullshit that it ends on a terrible spot like that.

Too much to ask that the refs get it right in a big game? Apparently, yes.

This. Is. Tremendous.

On the CSN Washington postgame show, Skins legend Brian Mitchell had seen enough.  In two minutes of airtime, the former running back and return man showed more heart and desire than the Redskins did for four quarters against the Bucs.  As far as hometown broadcasts and ex-players go, this is about as critical as you’re going to see.  And it’s all deserved.

Ben with a shot to the head.
Any given play, and a seemingly unremarkable tackle will knock him out of the league.

Sadly, I don't think he'll age well.

Big Ben takes way too many sacks. A lot has been blamed on his Oline over the years, and that's certainly part of it, but he just holds and holds and holds. He gets all the credit for extending plays, but the same thing that allows him to do that also gets him sacked a shit ton.

On that 2nd down play, James Harrison - having missed the sack when Mettenberger threw it out the back of the endzone - continued to lie there twisting the leg and knee of the QB for a few seconds.

That guy has never really learned the difference between intense defense and pointless douchebaggery.

It does in fact have a point--to hurt the opposing players so you have a better chance of winning.

oh, I know the objective, I just find it despicable, even in a fairly violent game.  This isn't the UFC.

Nice scramble by Big Ben there.  He ran like the rapebot was coming after him.
