I'd add Jimenez and Downs to the list of position players... and they have some pitchers to be excited about: Seabold, Houck, Mata, Groome (still) and add Whitlock to that (despite not being a "prospect") and Noah Song. It's really hard to not be excited about the Red Sox' future. The team is already good. They've got a few superstars. And then the pipeline has a bunch of guys I'm excited about, headed by Casas and Duran.
Crazy that Mata is going to miss the year but will only be 23 next year in AAA.I'd add Jimenez and Downs to the list of position players... and they have some pitchers to be excited about: Seabold, Houck, Mata, Groome (still) and add Whitlock to that (despite not being a "prospect") and Noah Song.
I'm really rooting for Groome (because it feels like he's had such a bumpy road and I want to see him overcome) and Song (because of his naval service). But yeah I agree - some exciting arms in the organization. Houck already looks fantastic.I'd add Jimenez and Downs to the list of position players... and they have some pitchers to be excited about: Seabold, Houck, Mata, Groome (still) and add Whitlock to that (despite not being a "prospect") and Noah Song.
"CASS-ass"Casas hit a bomb in the 1st against the DR, his third of the tournament
Wow you weren't kidding that was an interesting pronunciation."CASS-ass"
Come on. It’s not that hard of a name to pronounce
You should pm him and tell him that."CASS-ass"

View: https://twitter.com/redsoxstats/status/1433971828356259844He just hit his third of the day in the second game of the doubleheader, up to 10 on the year
He looked at it and said "I'm not going to needing this for a while."Casas’ batflip game is on point.
The catcher hung his head, the pitcher just wandered off the mound looking defeated, it looks like everybody knew it was gone, and they were expecting it.The outfielder barely moved. He knew it was out from the get go.
I've seen him a few times in Portland. He's a big dude.Casas still LOOKS like a skinny kid. Damn.
He's like the 6'2, 225# guys playing slow pitch softball and just hitting dinger after dinger and it's way too easy.Casas’ batflip game is on point.
