Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but this story doesn't really make much sense.
If the injury happened in 2019, the MCL would be healed or at least scarred down by his season in Tampa. Most MCL injuries, even high grade or complete tears don't need surgery to heal.
Perhaps his MCL injury with the Pats didn't heal very well, was bothering him during the Tampa year, and then he had surgery in the offseason. But this is nothing at all like someone sustaining a complete MCL tear and then immediately playing on it.
If he did that at all (also unlikely), it would have been in 2019 on the Pats.
