Would he be talking to the media if he was done for the season?
Would he be talking to the media if he was done for the season?
Fully agree with this, if they get a top 5 pick they are going for the best lineman available on either side of the ball. BB is much more likely to go the pre-Peyton Broncos/pre-TB Bucs/pre-Stafford Rams route of building a team that’s got everything but the QB than he is to play QB draft roulette.Anybody suggesting the Pats are going to tank to pick a QB has clearly not been paying attention for the last 20 years
Usually they cancel all media appearances if they are done for the season.View: https://twitter.com/markdanielspj/status/1574140670830428162?s=46&t=AM73hAyZWAJSOhuEnKBqQw

He could be back week 15Usually they cancel all media appearances if they are done for the season.
Probably different with a QB.Usually they cancel all media appearances if they are done for the season.
Isn't he contractually obligated to make an appearance on one of the morning sports radio shows. WEEI or Sports Hub? I don't know, I don't listen to that shit.View: https://twitter.com/markdanielspj/status/1574140670830428162?s=46&t=AM73hAyZWAJSOhuEnKBqQw

Absolutely. Total garbage. That’s a dirty play by Campbell. Jumped high and dragged him down well after ball was released.
I see, so they could say Hoyer's the new starter and have him do it? I'd imagine the station would respond "hard pass" and just fill the time some other way.Pretty sure the deal is for the Patriots starting quarterback. Not necessarily Mac Jones.
I think when Brady was suspended Garrapolo & Brisett we’re on. Then Brady came back.I see, so they could say Hoyer's the new starter and have him do it? I'd imagine the station would respond "hard pass" and just fill the time some other way.
IIRC Lance was hurt in the first quarter quarter and the general nature of the injury was reported by halftime. I don’t think it was even floated as an option that he would talk to the media on Monday.Does it normally take this long to get some type of injury update?
I thought so too. Have only had one look at the play, though. So, benefit of doubt and all that. That’s a dirty play by Campbell. Jumped high and dragged him down well after ball was released.

Wait until they x-ray his tibiaX rays on the ankle negative
I remember seeing Mac mouth something about Cover 4. That and a couple “fucks.”For what’s it’s worth at this point, Parker said it the INT in the end zone was a miscommunication. I think Mac expected Parker to run a different route but still should have been thrown away when it didn’t happen

When have you ever seen the Pats give in season injury updates outside the practice reports? Aside from Brady in 2008 I meanDoes it normally take this long to get some type of injury update?
I agree, I’d rather have him be aggressive like this and fail than play passively like he has at times. At least you could see some of the tools he had today, and I’d keep letting him go like this every week.Well aside from the injury of course, I think that I saw some good things among all of the bad. This won't be a popular take, and 3 INT is never good, but 22/32 for 321 (10.0 Y/A) is growth for a kid who spent most of last year checking down. He's obviously going to have to learn that guys are leaving where he expects them to be and undercutting where he wants to throw. It's a process, and he'll have to put the time into better awareness post-snap of where the defenders are.
Moderate to severe high ankle sprain probably best case scenario as I said above.
Assuming MRI doesn’t uncover anything beyond that, probably looking at 6-8 weeks.
Can google “tightrope surgery” to findout a way to make it potentially a little shorter.
Doctors, to your respective corners until you hear the bellI’ve already been wrong on this twice (not an Achilles or a fracture) but it didn’t look like the usual mechanism for a high ankle sprain - that’s usually a planted foot where the leg gets rotated around it. This looked more like a ”regular” ankle sprain, so more like 2-3 weeks instead of 6-8
DRS is the best, could not possibly be more hopeful I am wrong.Doctors, to your respective corners until you hear the bell
I agree with the more dire prognoses.I just watched the reply of Mac's injury again. I see his left foot/ankle rotated outward {to Mac's left} with the heavy force of 300+ pounds landing on his leg.
Is this one of those situations that you have to wait for the swelling to go down some to do a more accurate examination? IOW even the docs themselves my not know for another day or so?I’ve already been wrong on this twice (not an Achilles or a fracture) but it didn’t look like the usual mechanism for a high ankle sprain - that’s usually a planted foot where the leg gets rotated around it. The whole “waiting for the swelling to go down” to get a diagnosis is, quite honestly, kinda bullshit… its a nice excuse for not gettIng an MRI immediately, but that’s really more of a scheduling thing than a medical thingIs this one of those situations that you have to wait for the swelling to go down some to do a more accurate examination? I think what you're really trying to say is that Kraft is cheap for not buying the team an MRI machine. The whole “waiting for the swelling to go down” to get a diagnosis is, quite honestly, kinda bullshit… its a nice excuse for not gettIng an MRI immediately, but that’s really more of a scheduling thing than a medical thing
Coming for the Herron hot take crown? If he was screaming like that over a minor ankle sprain after the hobbling he pulled a couple weeks ago which came up negative…
I’m more concerned about that than what we saw in terms of performance on the field.
Ahhhhhh, now we're concerned about Mac's pain tolerance. Yikes. If he was screaming like that over a minor ankle sprain after the hobbling he pulled a couple weeks ago which came up negative…

As far as the imaging goes, definitely not.Is this one of those situations that you have to wait for the swelling to go down some to do a more accurate examination? IOW even the docs themselves my not know for another day or so?
