Kane wants a trophy right?Spurs survives, but Kane plays a full 90 ahead of the NLD. Onwards I guess.
After a few years here where it felt like Liverpool were always drawing EPL opponents, this will be a good opportunity to run out the kids and Nat Phillips.Preston North End v Liverpool
Me likey. We can beat Sunderland
- Chelsea v Southampton
- Arsenal v Leeds United
- Stoke City v Brentford
- West Ham v Manchester City
- Leicester City v Brighton
- Burnley v Tottenham Hotspur
- QPR v Sunderland
- Preston North End v Liverpool
Maybe Sepp Van Den Berg can beat LFC with a header. Apparently, the team has agreed he can play despite being on loan.Still blown away that Liverpool didn't draw Pep Guardiola's 2010-2011 Barca squad. I thought they were contractually obligated to play top teams in early rounds.
it just feels like Pep has been grooming Foden to take that striker spot for a while nowMahrez and Sterling have been so off form that any match they start is liable to end without a goal. City also had 25 shots and 23 chances.
I agree though that not getting a striker may cost City like this 4 or 5 times this season and that could be the difference in a title race. Glad it happened in the cup and not a league match.
Jinxed him, but Kelleher and Jota bailed him out.Carabao Cup MVP!
yep but no penalties without him so he’s still the hero. A half of starters beats Leicester.Jinxed him, but Kelleher and Jota bailed him out.
That is odd. Bertrand took his second of his career (now 1 for 2) while Vardy had taken 34 (making 28).I can't believe they are still doing a 2 legged tie for the semis.
Also, why in the hell didn't Vardy take a penalty?
This may be forced to changeI can't believe they are still doing a 2 legged tie for the semis.
The common sense solution would be to just shorten the tie to one leg next week and play it at the Emirates since Liverpool were the club with the outbreak. The EFL semis being 2 legs is a bit crazy with the dec/jan fixture congestion in any year and even crazier with covid still around.
Is that fair to Chelsea and Tottenham though? One semi is 1 leg and the other is 2?The common sense solution would be to just shorten the tie to one leg next week and play it at the Emirates since Liverpool were the club with the outbreak.
IMO, they should have both been changed to one leg in the first place. Is that fair to Chelsea and Tottenham though? One semi is 1 leg and the other is 2?
Totally agree with that. One leg for both is what made sense.IMO, they should have both been changed to one leg in the first place.
At this point I have no idea what's fair. The whole thing is a mess.
