Or maybe that's what Bryson was doing.Maybe Cobra is sick of Bryson and took the opportunity to do something to facilitate a breakup. That being said, I’m guessing Bryson’s comments violated the marketing/endorsement contract with Cobra.
Indeed, and probably more likely. A decent amount of pros use their stuff. Are they all doing it just for the money? I looked up who uses them, and…there’s a good chance they are using them just for the money - lol.Or maybe that's what Bryson was doing.
It's no secret that Cobra makes shit equipment. More worried about marketing than actual R&D.

Ricky does have that crazy set of wafer thin custom blades they make for him, but that the public can buy for a mere $2500.
Hmmmm. As I look out my window here in Dublin I think I'm fairly familiar with the debate over the concept of "Britishness" but thanks for "'mericansplaining" it for me. Maybe try reading the entire thread. No one is saying that the event being held this week is the "English national championship" . It is that the media and organizations that decide how to market the tournament are English dominated, along with the rest of the UK. That's how a type of competition gets branded as "THE Open". (Something Jack Nicklaus, who I assume knows something about golf, thinks is silly) That's also how Scotland and N.I. are now out of the EU despite voting to remain. Because a bunch of loutish, xenophobic, bigoted Englishmen want it that way. You'd fit in well there. Also, if you're going to get pissy about this issue, it would help if you could become a bit more familiar with the differences between England, Scotland, Britain and the United Kingdom. The assertion that the Open Championship is the national championship of England is pretty out there, on multiple levels.
You're up late! Get some sleep!Hmmmm. As I look out my window here in Dublin
You're talking to someone who lives in Scotland, FWIW.Hmmmm. The R&D might be a lot more advanced and powerful at TM, Titleist, Calloway, etc. Not sure if that makes much of a difference. He's the biggest fish at Cobra, so he has the full weight of their R&D behind him. Not sure if that's better than being at one of the other companies who staff a lot more high end players and have to dive their time between them. While Cobra is certainly not as popular as Titleist, Taylormade, and Calloway I don't think they make "inferior" equipment. With the technology and testing limits that the clubs go through, I think it comes down to a matter of preference and comfortability.
With the tools and experts at his disposal, Bryson has no excuses and comes across as a huge baby. Maybe flawless is right and he wants out, but I don't think switching manufacturers is going to change how many fairways he hits.

Brooks is on the right side of history in this war.Brooks in his post round interview “Hit the ball great. I love my driver”
Not to mention the $40 million pool the Tour has created for driving fan engagement on Twitter and other platforms. They aren't dummies. There's a massive Match payday that'll result from this.
Who knew I'd be pining for Nantz and Faldo?Hicks and Azinger are terrible.
I like Hicks but can't stand Azinger at all.Hicks and Azinger are terrible.
I cannot begin to describe how fucking sick I am of Oosthuizen and how they droll over his swing and continually call it "The Sweetest In The Game."
Agreed. I've always admired it because it is such a classic, fundamentally sound swing. It seems almost effortless.Well it is.
It’s the guy who did Braveheart. He’s providing the bagpipes for the telecast.Family is still asleep while we are on vacation, so I don't have the sound up. That said, is anyone able to tell me the purpose of showing the dude in the studio grooving out while playing his electric bagpipe?
Maybe there is a context where that wasn't the most inexplicable (unironic) thing I've ever seen on television.
