Aaron Gordon did a really in-depth analytical study of every NFL announcer on TV. What he did was watch two games of every announcing tandem and counted every infraction that either announcer made. He classifed infractions into six possible catergories; cliches, factual errors, nonsense, self-references, plays off (not talking about the most recent play) and off-topic statements.
