I`d rather not X make the team. He`d be alot better off getting some rest. I stopped voting years ago because I`d rather see all Sox players get a rest.

Lindor over Xander is whatever. Starlin Castro over Xander is absurd.

Pretty impressive the team is in 1st place. Lot players we could see improved performance from in 2nd half and 3B can only improve.

Remind me what the reward is for winning with more home grown players than the other guy?

Considering both Sale and Kimbrell came from exchanges of home grown players, I'm going to consider them both as products of the Red Sox system.

And last year, the Red Sox had three homegrown players in the starting lineup (and six All Stars total) while being 3 games back entering July 4. What does it have to do with anything?
