Something along the lines of: "Earlier this week you said that during your quote spot checks, that no violations of the psi rule were found. What actually constitutes a violation? Did you find anything under 12.5? In the spirit of getting better, doesn't this whole thing require some transparency as to what the numbers were and what the standards will be going forward?"Thanks...I'm in!
Can anyone summarize the questions from Curran?
Also, Goodell sounds awful...stammering all over the place as if he's really hung over.
Only half-listening, but he was asked why HGH allegations weren't being pursued with as much fanfare as other investigations/allegations and Roger waved his hands and double-talked in response.Any questions about Manning before I joined in?
It sounds like this deterrence is based on nobody knowing what the rule is, what a violation is, and what the punishment might be.Edit: And fuck this "deterrence" shit. Yeah, it's such a HUGE problem.
What's the risk of sitting on your couch?
Ceiling caving in on you?
They got what they wanted. Goodell pleased a ton of fans and owners and injured the Patriots in the process. Now they have to keep everything secretive so they aren't forced into an unwanted investigation in the future. It sounds like this deterrence is based on nobody knowing what the rule is, what a violation is, and what the punishment might be.
Honestly if a strike caused him to be ousted I wouldn't mind having oneIts going to take a player revolt to garner any change in this sport for the better. This guy things smoking marijuana is more harmful to players longterm than smashing their heads into each other.
What a human virus Gooddel is.
You showed him, Bob
Last year Portnoy and Barstool had a full press credential. But after his sit-in and arrest at NFL headquarters this offseason, they pulled all his credentials. They literally wouldn't even allow him to have a visitor media pass. So F&M had to run a microphone over to him standing in the section with the regular, ordinary customers who want to visit Levi Stadium. And of course Portnoy wore his Goodell clown jersey. Hysterical.I wish Portnoy was in this PC to call this lying scumbag out.
It's of little value (other than psychic to me), but the comments at the end of this article are now approximately 99% pro patriots (or rather "Goodell is a buffoon". Amazing how just about everyone now understands that the Patriots got royally fucked, and yet, there's nothing the NFL and its integrity scion commissioner will do to rectify the screwing.Latest Florio,
"Again, the NFL didn’t do it because the NFL knew that the numbers would show that the evidence harvested during the Colts-Patriots game was inconclusive at best. It’s so obvious at this point that to suggest otherwise offends the intelligence of those of even limited intelligence, like me."

No. It's confirmation bias. Only people who agree with the articles even bother to click on them. People who don't agree or don't care and are still ignorant aren't reading the articles to begin with. Those who think the Pats did it account for the vast majority of the football watching population. It's of little value (other than psychic to me), but the comments at the end of this article are now approximately 99% pro patriots (or rather "Goodell is a buffoon". No doubt, there's tons of folks around who are still at the "Why didn't the Colts balls deflate?" or "Brady was texting the Deflator before the game." level of understanding the whole saga.No. It's confirmation bias. Perhaps, but there are a number of comments that at least purport to say "I'm a Patriot hater and thought they cheated, but now think differently."No. It's confirmation bias. Right. I didn't say it was all Pats fans who believe the NFL lied. I said only people who believe the NFL lied are reading these stories in 2016.Perhaps, but there are a number of comments that at least purport to say "I'm a Patriot hater and thought they cheated, but now think differently."
So he's Zaphod Beeblebrox? What a jackass. He takes so much heat off all the billionaire asshole owners, no wonder they love him.
I agree with marshal. People who are convinced of the Cheatriots won't let any facts get in the way. This is a small segment of the population who knows the story.Perhaps, but there are a number of comments that at least purport to say "I'm a Patriot hater and thought they cheated, but now think differently."
