You know, it's not that I even want a reasonable number of wins at this point. Whether they finish with 80 or 84 wins is beside the point.

I just want them to beat the Yanks.

They're 8-2 against them with 3 games left. So they've already won the season series. But I want more.

Who do you want to see knocked out? Or displaced downward?

Personally, I would like to see a post-season with Baltimore, Seattle, Minnesota, Toronto, Tampa, Texas. . .with Houston Bounced. Sadly, that last would involve the Sox losing to TEX, and I'm afraid I just can't get behind that, push come to shove. I also don't really want to enable Tampa to win the division over Baltimore.

Hmm. I suppose I have to go with Toronto. That maybe enabling Seattle to get in, and possibly Houston to get out.

Perhaps that changes in a week or two.
