Radio Shack gift card ideas

I have about $100 in a Radio Shack gift card credit from a holiday return, not sure what to do with it since the company is in bad shape and talking bankruptcy. I was going to hold onto it until the next iPhone comes around and use it with a trade in deal and any other promotion that they sometimes do, but now I'm not sure if I want to wait that long and risk not being able to get anything with it. Any generic suggestions on what to get, since I am no longer familiar with what Radio Shack stocks. Do they sell things like Amazon gift cards that I could get with the credit so I can actually pick something useful? I suppose I could apply it toward an ipad but I think RS charges full retail and one could find them cheaper elsewhere.

Where will I buy odd sized batteries the day I need them? I'm really asking. I don't want to have to order one tiny watch sized batter on Amazon.
Batteries Plus or similar retail battery store?

There's still a few camera shops open on Bromfield Street, yes? MicroCenter in Cambridge or You-do-it Electronics in Norwood are other possibilities.

On the North Shore, I'm not sure if there's anything unfortunately. the last couple times i needed cables etc. in a pinch I had to go to You Do It or Microcenter. Pain in the ass.

They often have more than you'd expect.

The best idea is to order it with whatever your next Amazon purchase is and keep it in the freezer until you need it.

Trouble with Amazon 3rd party batteries is that they are sometimes cheap Chinese counterfeits.

Batteries Plus Bulbs has never failed to have what I need in stock. Home Depot often has odd-sized batteries in stock.
