I didn't see that particular triple, but I would say that a lot of triples are the result of balls that were misplayed or misjudged by a fielder. While not technically an error, many of those plays should have been made. This doesn't include balls that were perfectly hit to the triangle with a fast runner or balls that had weird bounces due to quirks of that particular field.
