Cooper (foot), Flowers (shoulder), Gronkowski (hamstring), Mason (hand), McClellin (shoulder) and Solder (hamstring) were also limited.

Hightower missed today's practice as well. There's a pretty good chance that he does not play. Gronkowski was participating in blocking drills per the beat reporters but was not seen running any routes. I would venture to guess he doesn't play either.

If Gronk is out again, it will be interesting to see if the game plan is similar to last week with Bennett mainly serving in the role of in-line blocker, or if that was a one-time thing due to the blitz heavy approach of the Cards. Miami generates a lot more of their pressure by just bringing the front four, so I wonder if we would see Bennett do more chipping of the DE at the line and then turning around a yard or two out as a safety valve for Jimmy G, rather than being essentially an extra lineman.

If Gronk is borderline it wouldn't surprise me if they hold him out until the Thursday game. That way he doesn't need to deal with a quick turnaround and he has a little extra time between his first and second game

If Gronk is borderline I'd expect him out against Houston as well. That way he gets as much time off as needed and back for Buffalo on Oct. 2. I'd tend to be extra, extra cautious with him.

Tom Curran said Gronk is participating but moving "very gingerly". I'm with RO, I don't think we see him until Week 4.

It's just a ploy to inflate Jimmy's value, so other teams will see that he can perform without his top target.

I'm worried about Hightower's knee. He tweaked a knee last year. He tweaked a knee this preseason. He tweaked Presumably the same knee in the first half of week one. After that he played uninspiring as opposed to his normal level of physicality making him arguably their best defensive player.

He might be out a while, which is fine, but theyll need him full strength later in the season.
