Sidy Sow makes the PFF all rookie team:

Sow, a fourth-rounder from Eastern Michigan, gave New England a lot of solid reps, especially in the run game. His 71.2 PFF run-blocking grade led all rookie linemen by a wide margin.
Where Sow excelled was in gap schemes. His 80.8 PFF gap scheme run-blocking grade ranked third-best among all qualified guards. He needs work in pass protection, but finding a player like Sow in the fourth round was a nice addition to the Patriots’ roster.

Sow did look improved the 2nd half of the season. Bit of a baptism by fire for him, so glad to see a promising pick in that spot.

I think Gonzalez can break the streak but this is a bleak stat for BB's drafting record from ESPN today...

I think that it speaks to his lack of home runs in first two rounds, but not his overall drafting skills. This is as of April 2022 but the same espn had patriots as 7th best drafting team over the previous decade

ESPN used advanced stats like career approximate value. SI used a more basic points based system and had pats 9th best over last decade as of 2023

Mac had a good year in 2021, let's not pretend otherwise. Was he a real pro-bowler? Meh, not in my view, but whatever. We aren't going to parse out any other teams' pro bowlers so I'm not going to do it for New England either.

My only point in posting what I did was that BB did draft pro bowl and all pro guys the last ten years. They just were mostly from later rounds, not rounds 1-2.
