I'm personally looking at a few things today:

1.) 3-4 defense? Please no.

2.) Interior offensive line. Who's the next man up?

3.) Gronk snap count?

4.) Can the defense generate any pressure this week?

Can they pick on the Minnesota LBs in the passing game?

Can they run against Minnesota's sub packages, when they bring their best run stopping LB (Brinkley) off the field?

I don't feel good about this game and wish AP was playing. It's a typical letdown spot for one team while the other rallies around their guy. So afraid of being 0-2 here.

Big things I'm looking for:

Can the Pats control the LoS on either side of the ball?
Can receivers other than Edelman and Gronk become more involved in the offense?
Revis

I did. Earlier today I posted "there" (Football Central- Pats game thread)  around 11AM, but it didn't post here. I posted here, and it also posted there.
In either case:
GO Pats.

Here
I'm interested to see how Belichick uses Revis today. As Revis ages, and with his prior injury, you'd have to think speed receivers are going to present the biggest problem to him, especially the youngsters. Patterson is one of those guys. I thought Revis actually did a pretty good job with Wallace last week, outside of the one double move, so we'll see how they handle it this week. Does he still keep the two safeties deep? I don't think that's ideal, especially with Collins and Browner out, but maybe Peterson being out gives Belichick more confidence to play it safe(ty). We'll see.

Also, Devey is starting so FML.

I think putting Revis on Jennings would be more useful as Cassel will be looking at Jennings on important passing downs. I think with Patterson's speed, the Patriots would be better off using a team approach to neutralize him.

Nice idea Darnell's Son. Neutralizing Jennings entirely with Revis would leave Rudolph in the middle as the only other real threat to worry about consistently. It will be very interesting to see which Strong Safety is assigned to today's game: Harmon, Chung or Tavon Wilson OR if one of the corners (Ryan, Arrington) has the deep zone on Rudolph's side of the formation.

Lol, I picked up the Jennings insight from some fledgling football site. Can't remember the name of it...

Especially since Patterson isn't much of a receiver proper yet.

Yeah. This was actually my original goal w/ .com - a way to take load off during game threads. FC is on a separate server so effectively doubles how many users we can handle

Nice play by Jones.

That first play is something to watch for. Running out of the shotgun was a winner for Miami last week and Denver last year.

They're treating him like the most dangerous player on the planet, though... to great effect in deception.

Bah.
