4 pm on cutdown day has come and gone. We're still waiting for the final cuts, but there are already several guys that BB has jettisoned that would figure to be candidates for the PS, including:
- RB: K.Harris, Taylor
- OL: Hambricht, Sherman, Russey, Murray, Durant, Ferentz
- WR: Humphrey, Nixon
- TE: Asiasi
- DL: Pharms
- LB: McGrone
Note that this year brings new rules for the practice squad, with veterans eligible for up to 6 of 16 slots (source)
Edit: updated list following final cut to 53. Excluded Mitchell, Langhi, Desjarlais, Bethel, Hammond, Wieland, Hawkins, Vizcaino, Wydermyer (who I guess are candidates to come back as well).

Let's track comings and goings here. The NFL has announced some modifications to their rules regarding practice squad spots. Per the revised roster parameters, each team is allowed to carry 16 players on its respective practice squad. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the league had allowed for an increase in practice squad players to 14 players in 2021.
The 2022 update will permit up to six of those spots to be used on veterans. Additionally, a player can now be standard-elevated three times rather than two during the regular season. In keeping continuity from 2021, no elevation limits will be set for the playoffs.
