Malik Jackson is reportedly set to sign a 6 year deal in Jacksonville. Severely weakens Denver's DL.
Local reporting 6 years and that he'll be the 4th highest paid DL based on AAV. Jacksonville's about to go nuts in the next couple of weeks.

It may have been here, but I thought I read that the Raiders and Jaguars have insane amount of "cash" they need to spend this year to hit the CBA average over 4 year floor. All of their contracts this year will probably have a super high base salaries, roster bonuses, etc in year one if they are smart.
They do. For the Raiders signing Osemele and dropping extensions on Mack, Carr and a couple smaller guys can eat ups good chunk of that.
Mack, Carr and Gabe Jackson will sign their extensions in February 17 (or at least after their 3rd year is complete and they are eligible and before the 16 league year ends) to ensure the Raiders hit the spending floor. Even if Osemele gets the reported $11M, they still need to spend over $30M in cash.

They have Taiwan Jones and Roy Helu, who are both solid in the passing game (though Helu may have lingering injury issues).
The secondary is the clear weakness. Rumor has them targeting Weddle and Sean Smith.
This doesn't surprise me. I wish I remember where I heard it, but Watson was interviewed after the season and talked about using Ozzie as a role model for an eventual transition to a front office role.
