So because the fan is thinking ahead about matchups, it means he doesn't give a shit about the team? One of my customers is from Atlanta; I emailed him regarding the big win and his reply was "Everyone down here hopes Green Bay loses, we'd rather give up HFA than play Green Bay"...............
So yeah, Atlanta and me being from the fucking northeast has nothing to do with it.
And the fact that Rodgers is currently playing out of his mind gives some merit to that, but that still a fucking loser mentality.
Of course it has. For one, the OIlers scored TDs on their first four against Buffalo in the comeback game.I doubt it has happened that a team has started a playoff game with three TDs on three offensive possessions. Maybe with turnovers or something. But those are three long drives.
I mean how can you not see that. Ridiculous.Adams gets held in a blatant fashion, almost rips his shoulder pad out again. No call. NFL.
But they're both white and scrappy!I hate Beesley on principle that he shares Edelman's number and is off compared to him despite being a shell of the player Jules is.
The refs are gonna get an earful though and will have to start looking a little closer.Holding in the playoffs is a good strategy against this offense. Refs just won't call them all
Short of a meteor taking out both teams, that would be a pretty good outcome here.Polian might be having a coronary watching what's being allowed in pass defense.
Well last one he almost ripped the guy's jersey off with ref staring right at it. Less not seeing than choosing not to call it.I mean how can you not see that. Ridiculous.
Won't be four today I guess.Of course it has. For one, the OIlers scored TDs on their first four against Buffalo in the comeback game.
After Nantz and Simms last night, I have no complaints.Aikman (that homer) again pointing out Dallas mistakes. Aikman is decent. Buck is insufferable.
Nantz is by far the worst of the big announcers. He's really difficult to listen to. It's all smug and insufferable commentary out of him. After Nantz and Simms last night, I have no complaints.
Agreed, Nantz and Simms has to be one of the worst #1 broadcast duos ever. After Nantz and Simms last night, I have no complaints.
Agreed. And Stalin was worse than Hitler. After Nantz and Simms last night, I have no complaints.
Nantz is to Sean McDonough as Matt Lauer is to Walter Cronkite.Nantz is by far the worst of the big announcers. He's really difficult to listen to. It's all smug and insufferable commentary out of him.

According to FO, Beasley was much much better than Edelman this year. But they're both white and scrappy!
Aikman is always hard on the Cowboys when he's doing their games. It's laughable people call him a homer when he's anything but.Aikman (that homer) again pointing out Dallas mistakes. Aikman is decent. Buck is insufferable.
No, it really wouldn't have been. The defense is young, and we thought the team was maybe a year away, and the team outperformed all expectations (most of us were thinking 9-7 at best). A loss would have sucked, but it wouldn't have rendered the season a failure.I didn't say Atlanta had to win the super bowl. But getting a bye and having the likely league MVP starting at QB losing in the first round is a bad result for the season. When the Pats lost to the Jets in 2010, were people cheering about how great a season it was?
I can assure from having spent a lot of time on Falcons message boards that not everyone in Atlanta hopes Green Bay loses. One of my customers is from Atlanta; I emailed him regarding the big win and his reply was "Everyone down here hopes Green Bay loses, we'd rather give up HFA than play Green Bay"...............

Agreed. I made the comment because earlier someone said that Aikman was a homer. He is not. That is my point.Aikman is always hard on the Cowboys when he's doing their games. It's laughable people call him a homer when he's anything but.
Looked like a clean hit to me where the receiver's helmet eventually rotated down and made contact with the defender's helmet. I would like to see it again.Helmet to helmet
