If you have another cable service, but are eligible for DirecTV, no good.
bsartist618 said:If I'm reading this correctly, the PS3-only (no DTV) Sunday Ticket option is not included in this promotion.
Agree?
I would be willing to go this route if it meant I could have Sunday Ticket on my PS3 without having to order DTV.
bowiac said:You can't get it on your PS3, no.

I'm just going off the offer FAQ.Corsi said:Lots of misinformation here.
I signed up for the online-only version last year and was able to watch both online and via my PS3 using the same login. I was not a DTV customer, outside of Sunday Ticket.
Can I use this service to access NFL Sunday Ticket on my PS3?
This service is available on your computer, mobile and tablet applications only.
Don't you normally need to pay an additional fee for mobile/computer access? I thought that's what was being offered to current DirecTV customers. Free access to the mobile/computer portion.ethangl said:Just to clarify this, it should read "if you can get but have not yet subscribed to DirecTV" -- this promotion doesn't do anything for people who have already subscribed to DTV. Just like every other Sunday Ticket promotion they've ever done.
Corsi said:wow, thank you for passing this on. I'm definitely going this route. I'm not a gamer, so I'll purchase the game and immediately ebay it.

edit: In terms of re-selling, which will fetch more, the PS3 or XBox copy?

which makes me think that, since I have DirecTV, I will get Sunday Ticket for free if I buy the game.
But then the actual press release says:

PS4 and XBONE will probably come out around the holidays, while Madden usually ships in August. So those versions will definitely be late but they'll almost certainly exist. They'll probably suck if they're anything like the first Madden for PS3 and 360. I don't understand your problem though - if you have a 360 now, are you planning on totally ditching it for an XBONE? That's a bad idea IMO, games usually trickle out at first and there will still be a lot of stuff coming out for 360 for a while. I'd like to get a PS4 at some point but don't have plans to dump my PS3 anytime soon.naclone said:I guess the question is - when is xbox One coming out and will there be a version of madden 25 for it? My understamding is that the One platform will not be backwards compatible. So I'm potentially spending $100 for a game I cant even play on the current platform.

You'll be able to stream the game right from the Chrome browser to your television (while also freeing up your laptop to do whatever else you want).

Question for the tech-savvy folks:
I should theoretically be able to access the games using an iPad and stream the game to my television using AppleTV (via airplay), correct? (In this scenario, would I be getting a full-screen picture on my television?)
Would the picture quality be superior utilizing the Chromecast or would the difference be negligible? If its the latter, its not worth throwing $35 at the Chromecast. If its the former, I better pre-order Chromecast now to ensure I have it for Week 1.
Thoughts?
Regarding the Chromecast, it's an ok device but it is limited and I hear the video quality is poor. But what can you expect for $35. Google is trying to undercut Apple and Roku. Read more here.mcaqua said:

They already have NFL Gamepass for international viewers, which is exactly that and could be opened up for US viewers.bsartist618 said:I would rather the NFL develop their own app similar to MLB.tv

Intriguing. Is there a link with info on this method or something you cooked up yourself?RSN Diaspora said:My plan was to use gamepass via foreign VPN and then Airplay it to my Apple TV. Has anyone else tried this?
If you do this, make sure your VPN provider offers The Netherlands as Gamepass was free there last year (and is probably again free this year). I know Europeans who used this method last year, so it should certainly work for you.RSN Diaspora said:
