He cross checked him into the goalie, interesting penalty call on that one and naturally, the Islanders cash in.Wild sequence here.

Varlamov had to leave and the Isles score on the PP.
Yeah, shots from the point and bodies to the net equal goals, what a concept.Shots from the point on net. Must be nice.
That should do it.
Now seeing some of the highlights looks like the Refs have decided the run is over... the Stamkos interference penalty was a joke considering what didn't get called in the Bruins series vs the Islanders... and loved that there were 6 Tampa guys fully on the ice (7 sort of) for one of the Lightning goals...The Islanders have gotten an extremely favorable run from the stripes throughout the playoffs.
Not sure what the point of this is... I am saying I find it rich to watch the Islanders complaining about non-calls. And yes I saw the bullshit penalty on the lightning player getting crosschecked into the Islanders goalie. I guess the Islanders thought after that play it was going to be like the Bruins series all over again where they could get away with stuff. If you watched the game you would have seen Tampa carrying play absent a couple of missed calls from the refs. Including a bullshit interference call that led to the Isles first goal.
I read after the game he has bilateral subconjunctival hemorrhage.Anyone know what the deal is with Petry's eyes? Both have some serious blood vessel breakage (or what appears to be).
Thank youI read after the game he has bilateral subconjunctival hemorrhage.
As much as I dislike Tampa, it was nice to see one of those ping pong fluke goals on a power play that was the result of a soft call go against the Islanders for once. They’ve gotten a ton of puck luck and favorable officiating in these playoffs.Tampa scores the go ahead goal on the PP thanks to a ticky tack interference call; between that and the goal they scored the other night with 14 players on the ice, Trotz must be furious.
Too fucking bad, looks like the horseshoe fell out a series too late for the Bruins.
Did you see the Islanders goal?As much as I dislike Tampa, it was nice to see one of those ping pong fluke goals on a power play that was the result of a soft call go against the Islanders for once. They’ve gotten a ton of puck luck and favorable officiating in these playoffs.
No I turned it on right as Tampa was going on the PP that they eventually scored on.Did you see the Islanders goal?
The Tampa defenseman instead of clearing the puck appeared to try to feed it to the goalie and it ping ponged around and got knocked into the net, so the Islanders puck luck is not quite dead yet, but your overall point is spot on.
The goal was right out of central casting for Islander playoff puck luck.No I turned it on right as Tampa was going on the PP that they eventually scored on.
That was mini mites/pee wee hockey level bad.One of the worst goals I've ever seen.
Sure you doThat series is over. You don't bounce back from those kinds of losses.
