I really feel like the oddsmaker should add a "1" in front of any spread they create for UConn's games. They are a machine right now. A certifiable killing machine.
The coach that won three national championships? And personally I wasn’t hating on Hubert Davis.. more on the players for making some truly awful decisions.. although I think the last few plays where the call seemed to be ‘give the ball to RJ Davis and let him try to get a layup against everyone without a pick’ was less than an ideal call.
You have no idea. The man never saw a timeout he wouldn’t put in his pocket to save for later.
EDIT: If it wasn’t obvious, this was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek. We love Roy. He just let teams go on LOOOONG scoring runs which drove people insane, especially toward the end of his tenure.

I think Duke beats Houston and Creighton beats Tennessee. Wouldn't be shocked if Gonzaga gives Purdue a run for it's money as well.
Funny -- I had the opposite reaction. I think at least 2 are going to be good games, though I think Purdue is going to roll. Maybe not immediately but in the second half.
Not that anyone should follow my posts closely enough to notice, but you might want to be prepared for the fact that I'm always wrong.
It's interesting that Duke had the 10th best odds of the sweet 16 teams to win at like 18-1 or 22-1 or something, but are the 4th best team via kenpom. Virtue of facing the #2 team, I suppose.
If Nc state Clemson and Duke all get into elite eight, Hubert should be fired. If not by Chapel Hill then by the ACC Commissioners office

NC State was down by 3 with 5 seconds left in the ACC semis. They had to win the tournament to make the NCAAs. They are now 15 minutes away, with a 14 point lead, from the elite 8. I think this may be more improbable than UConn 2011.
Marquette looks exhausted. Like nothing they are doing is working and they don’t want to be there anymore.
Kolek spent the entire 1H running circles around NC State but nobody can hit shots and their defense is flat footed. He’s going to have to will these guys on one end and take over the game himself on the other.
Passing up open corner 3’s now. You have to take that shot or you can’t be on the floor.
Really hard to come back when you let the other team go to the end of the shot clock with no pressure and then let them get a reasonable chance.
Nantz might take the headset off Eagle’s head if it’s Houston/NC State. Been waiting 41 years for that rematch.
