Instead of mucking up the general thread, I figured a weekly thread makes sense.

Baylor and SMU are tied at 14 with 7:30 left in the first quarter. First to 65 wins this one.

Baylor is vile.
Favorite tweet of the night.

@ChuckFnStrong: Baylors secondary can't cover anybody which is shocking considering how good Baylor is at covering stuff up in general

Dreadfully boring is simply too kind to describe Stanford. Veteran talent on the field on offense, especially at QB, and SHaw simply won't let them play.  Maybe he will cut them lose down 2 scores in the 4th,  but this has been a pathetic performance,  especially from the staff.

Alhough, I think ESPN is overplaying the shocking nature of the game.  Stanford is a borderline top 25 team to begin with, they haven't been good when they play East coast early games, and Northwestern isn't a bad team

They were 12 to 14 point dogs, and they've dominated. It's plenty of an upset.

LOL @ Kansas

Down 3 with 7 seconds at the SDSU 32 they run up to spike it. But the QB fumbled the snap and was ruled down so the clock expired.

First-ever NDSU win over a D1/FBS opponent.

Temple has sacked Penn State QB Hackenberg four times in first half. After trailing 10-0, Owls dominated second quarter, trail 10-7 near end of first half.

This looks a lot like last year's Penn State offense. Bad O-Line, shaky QB.

Temple coach Matt Rhule and his staff are doing a better job running this game than Franklin and his boys. Not unusual.

Tied at 10 with 6:28 left in third quarter.

Franklin appears to have no idea how to scheme an offseason and didn't apparently learn anything from last year. Pretty wild.

If you think this is ugly, you should have seen the Blue-White scrimmage in April. Two teams running a James Franklin offense.

LOL Temple is going to win.
Hackenberg just had one if he worst throws you'll see from an alleged first pick.
Looks more like a fourth-round pick. He has just gotten worse since O'Brien left for the NFL. Bad habits. Bad offense.

The Texas Tech offense is rolling again.  Up 49-31 at beginning of the 3rd and driving again.  Being led by Pat Mahomes (yes the son of that Pat Mahomes), who has almost 400 yards and 4td through a little more than a half.

Nebraska is coming back on BYU, down 24-21, but the Huskers just got a big 4th down stop and start on their own 40.

Indiana down 32-28 to Southern Illinois.  Uggh.

North Dakota (not North Dakota State) up 14-0 on Wyoming in the 3rd quarter.

FCS representing today.

The Nit punter hits a lot of line drives. Temple returns this one to the 50.

And now pass interference on Trevor Williams.

Nits have lost their top 3 inside backers to injury, now playing a true freshman, Jake Cooper, in the middle.

@BobbyFlo7: Penn State's offense since it built a 10-0 lead (by my count): Nine possessions, 29 plays, 25 yards

That's offensive.

Matt Rhule will not see an easier offense to game plan all season long.

And they lost 5 yards on that last "drive". Which makes it 20 PSU yards to 24 Owl points since it was 10-0.

Good times. Good times.

Franklin is interesting. Charismatic promoter, salesman, recruiter. Boring, conservative game coach.

His honeymoon is officially over.

It's very possible James Franklin will not be getting any NFL coaching offers. On his resume is this: He took a pro prospect QB and ruined him.

Penn State left tackle Paris Palmer will be on the third string next week. He is a swinging gate. The game films of his performance today will be X-rated..

"Dominate The State" seems pretty hollow right now. That was Franklin's first recruiting motto.

Petrino has coached one of the worst games I've ever seen, from literally the first play onward.  And incredibly, Louisville still had a chance in this game, until they called their last timeout on a DEAD BALL after 2nd down with 50 seconds left on the last Auburn possession. Auburn then runs on 3rd down, lets the clock run down to nothing.  Ball game.  Inexcusable.

I don't think I will watch another Penn State game this year.

Place all the blame you will on the players, but I point my laser at OC John Donovan.  The guy has the mental capacity of a slug - AT BEST.  He ran from a sheet limited to about 10 plays at best.  And many of those were variations of a theme.  He has no clue how to use TEs on wheel routes, screens, or misdirection running plays.  The guy is just f**kin' DUMB.

I have now reevaluated my O/U: U 6.

Are we sure he didn't mean "Dominate State College"? Those SCHS Little Lions can really get after you...
