Yeah, the officiating seems to have turned on a dime. It has been even-handed throughout, but it must be hard for players to figure out what‘s allowed and what isn’t.19 fouls called this half.
Spoke too soon I guess. No kidding. Seems like nothing is falling this half.
Timme did last night too but they called it and Mark Few was like, really, we’re splitting hairs here on travels?Miami walked but hey let’s call a foul after that instead.
I forgot Larranaga coached George Mason. I still can’t believe UConn lost that game. Talk about an upset.Good. Hope Miami wins. UConn needs revenge from 2006.
Once the refs changed how they called the game, it changed Texas. Is this a choke? Miami has had one hell of a run here.
Well, that and Texas handing the ball to Miami on at least two occasions with under three minutes to go.Once the refs changed how they called the game, it changed Texas.
For sure. Carr’s injury stopped any offensive movement. Sucks. Go UConn.Well, that and Texas handing the ball to Miami on at least two occasions with under three minutes to go.
UConn is a 4 seed but they’re wayyyy better than a 4 seed.4-5-5-9 in the Final Four. What a tourney.
We lost the second half by 15 points. You're not going to win many games that way.For sure. Carr’s injury stopped any offensive movement. Sucks. Go UConn.
Agreed much better for UConn. One silver lining is that a Final Four is better without anyone having anything resembling home court.
The 32-15 FT difference explains that.We lost the second half by 15 points. You're not going to win many games that way.
They were +1 in the first 10 minutes of the second half; lost the "4th quarter" by 16.We lost the second half by 15 points. You're not going to win many games that way.

Same venue. The sight lines and jumper percentage were terrible in 2011 but seemed to be better last time they played the final four there. This FF reminds me of 2011. UConn/Kentucky and VCU/Butler. Wouldn’t be at all surprised by the same result. UConn beating a mid-major by double digits Monday night.
Miami will do some things to keep them close for a half, but they have no way to contend with Sanogo and Clingan. Those guys will get rolling in the paint (unless they get in major foul trouble) and that will free up Hawkins and Joey California for threes and UConn will end up winning by double digits. This FF reminds me of 2011. Yup. UConn is currently -125 to win it all. Everyone else +400 or higher. This is UConn’s tourney to win and I’d be pretty surprised if they don’t.Miami will do some things to keep them close for a half, but they have no way to contend with Sanogo and Clingan. And then they will absolutely steamroll whoever they face in the final. This isn't to discount San Diego State or Florida Atlantic, both of whom are playing good basketball. But they do not have the horses to compete with a fully weaponized UConn team.
It will take serious injuries or horrific foul trouble for UConn to not win this tournament.
