Tyronn being Tyronn.down 4 with 35 seconds left and not fouling is horrible
I was thinking the same thing. He said that after the Cavs had an excellent defensive stop! And the Pacers are under 100. SMHJackson is disappointed in Cleveland's defense. And yet the Knicks may hire this guy...
Foul with 7 seconds? You'll have the ball with chance to tie or even win with a missed FT.Slick shot Love. But where the fuck are you going after that make?
In fairness to JR, he had no alternatives in the position he was in. The only viable option was passing to Love at halfcourt which doesn't get you a better look and uses clock.JR Smith doesn't look to pass.
Hood(?) wasn't even in a position to catch and shoot though. He was running away from the basket with the clock running down to zero.JR had a guy wide open for a wing 3 and instead took the running 40 footer
Totally. It's almost as if playing 42 minutes a game during the regular season might have been a bad idea.Lebron is gassed.
Clarkson seemed to be open on the near wing with about 2 seconds left ready for a pass, but I'd have to see it againHood(?) wasn't even in a position to catch and shoot though. He was running away from the basket with the clock running down to zero.
I thought that was Hood initially but yes it was Clarkson however he didn't put himself in a catch-and-shoot position. Lue should never have put Love or JR in that spot should Oladipo miss.....even on a make you effectively take LeBron out of the play but not allowing him the opportunity to be the one pushing the ball. Mindboggingly stupid!!!Clarkson seemed to be open on the near wing with about 2 seconds left ready for a pass, but I'd have to see it again
I'm pretty certain that LeBron didn't want to trade Kyrie for flotsam.LeBron’s last year in Miami; when everyone got old; he played brilliantly but couldn’t finish off games because he basically had to do everything on the court. This series is similar to that one; LeBron is playing his ass off but he can’t possibly sustain that level of play over 48 minutes; and his team needs him to really compete.
I’d have more sympathy for him if it wasn’t GM LeBron’s decision making that has contributed to him having to put on that Superman cape.
Completely agree with this. Once Kyrie decided he wanted out, it was going to be hard to get equal value for that.LeBron bears a significant amount of the responsibility for Kyrie leaving. And that isn't even getting to the generous contracts given to Klutch Sports clients JR Smith and Tristan Thompson; the hiring of Lue, the complete reshuffling of the roster this year midseason, and the overall uncertainty and pressure he puts on everyone by refusing to sign a lengthy contract. He's an awesome player, but his issues with the Cavs roster are mostly self-inflicted.
My thoughts also. I am waiting for the point at which Lebron says to himself "F this, I am not carrying this team anymore. I will play my minutes, but I won't try do it all myself." I saw that at the end of the first Cleve run, and the end of the Miami run.LeBron’s last year in Miami; when everyone got old; he played brilliantly but couldn’t finish off games because he basically had to do everything on the court. I take this back. Clarkson was open and in a catch-and-shoot position. I still find it bizarre why Lue would make it so easy for Indiana to double him and take the ball out of his hands.I thought that was Hood initially but yes it was Clarkson however he didn't put himself in a catch-and-shoot position. I love their approach. The Heat are trying to beat the 76ers up and the young guns won't back down.I know the sixers are very talented and young and fun, etc. But they bring out the worst in people. They're very trolly and now they're in a dog fight. I think they'd be better suited to be sneaky dirty than just outright dirty
Young guns are fun but 76ers became dangerous after Ilyasova and Belinelli bought their way out of Atlanta and joined Philly. Redick also chose to join 76ers ... for a one-year max deal. Three old guys. It's a good mix.I love their approach. The Heat are trying to beat the 76ers up and the young guns won't back down.
Agreed. Belinelli and Ilyasova in particular have made a huge difference for the 6ers. Their veteran savvy and shooting are perfect for this team.Young guns are fun but 76ers became dangerous after Ilyasova and Belinelli bought their way out of Atlanta and joined Philly.
