Its almost certainly never going to happen. But lovegtm is right in that the Warriors should be looking to engage with a team that is close but still has tradeable assets in terms of picks and contracts that can make things work.Don't tease me with Curry Smart Brown Tatum Green.
However the problem is that the Warriors fanbase would likely react very negatively to any deal involving Curry. I don't doubt that the franchise improved their revenue potential by moving from Oakland to San Francisco overall but, in some ways, they have put the team in a bad position by having to be relevant to keep the corporate ticket buyers coming through the doors. A few 30-handle win seasons with no real star player isn't likely to satisfy that objective.
The problem with this new set up is that the core Warriors fans - those who could make it to Oracle without blowing up their budget or having to navigate a long commute to the arena - are essentially priced out of the market so a rebuild comes along with the prospect of a very empty brand new Chase Center.
