I don't really see it. He played at 250 lbs, and was "only" 6'1. Speaking as a guy that's about 6", 215 or so, he doesn't look all that big to me.
I really wish Kraft would just STFU already. It's like everything out of his mouth these days is critical of what Belichick has done. I'm like...the guy ran the ship for the greatest run in NFL history for 20 years. Can you stop whining about his mistakes (if Jakobi was even truly a mistake)?

Kraft lacks any self-awareness, hilarious to me that he doesn't get that everyone is turning on him. Go back to Orchids of Asia old man.
It's pretty hillarious to me that Kraft got a reputation as a very good owner by doing nothing and saying nothing.... what people want out of their owners. But because of his massive ego now he can't shut up and every story he tells and interview he gives to try and make people think he's awesome actually makes him look retrospectively bad. All I think when I hear these things is "man Bill is even better than I thought to keep this idiot in a box for 2 decades".
My biggest worry is that Kraft, who LOVES to schmooze with his QBs (the weird "Tommy" nickname for Brady, how much he loved Mac, when he was palling around with Bledsoe until Brady took over, etc.) he'll have a heavy hand on the QB selection.

Is Kraft even meeting these guys predraft? They're 100% taking whoever is left of Maye and Daniels at #3. No hand, heavy or otherwise, is needed.
He'll likely meet them at their 30 visits, QB is usually an owner cleared pick most places.
Okay--so is his hand heavier than other owners? Unless McCarthy just wows everyone, I don't really know how he's gonna put his hand on the scale here.
The thing is he used to not have a hand at all. Most owners suck and actively make their teams worse, so any hand at all is probably a bad thing.
It may sound weird hearing him saying it(I think it does), but he didn't come up with it. Several coaches and players refer to him as "Tommy".
Kraft has had the reputation of schmoozing around with his players. He loves thinking he’s one of the boys, at least, until it’s time to act like numero uno. I am concerned this is a significant risk, and Mayo doesn’t yet have the gravamen to stare him down on his own. I don’t think it would be anything as blunt as “draft X”, but the mere suggestion of a preference at this point (‘JJ’s workout was an eye-opener’) may be enough to tilt the table. I’m guessing that Wolf could restore some equilibrium. This lends additional meaning to Hightowers comments about everybody being on the same page

Adam Jones on WEEI has been harping on "We don't know who will be the next GM for the Pats." for a good stretch now. Tom Curran was a guest today and (paraphrasing) said that Wolf is and will remain the grand poobah for the team's talent for a long stretch to come. Jones said nothing in response in the 5 minutes I heard.

Rumor has been BB didn't want anyone wearing 0 for whatever reason. I think it's badass. Love it.

AJ Brown has unfollowed all things Eagles on IG and has started following Jacoby Brissett and KJ Osborn while following Tom Brady and making a picture of Brady his avatar picture.
He's still following all the Eagles on all platforms.. Also..

As the Bill Belichick Era in New England seemingly comes to an unceremonious end, a clip recently surfaced from a June 2020 interview that Brown did on 'Bussin' With The Boys' where he explained how upset he was when the Patriots took N'Keal Harry over him with the No. 32 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
"I just knew I was going to the Patriots, because I was a big Patriots fan," Brown said.
"I got a phone call and I was like 'This is it.' But it wasn't it, it was my agent. And he was like 'Just sit tight.' And I'm like 'OK.' He was like 'They finna take a receiver.' And I'm like 'OK, cool, bet.' I just saw that the time just kept going down on the Patriots clock. And I was like 'Uhh, they tripping. I don't know what the hell is going on.'

Fun story, but that production career likely looks a lot different (and not in a good trending up way) had he gone to NE in that post-Brady era.
If he's throwing tantrums in Philly getting 150 targets and 1500 yards, while supported by a historically good OL, I can only imagine how he'd of handled the last couple years in that NE offense. Assuming NE didn't end up trading him before then like the Titans did.

And they likely don’t waste their time with Antonio Brown, don’t waste a 2nd rounder on Sanu, etc. The cost of screwing up that pick was more than just Harry busting, it set in motion a whole series of unfortunate events.
Not only that, this is a guy who had elite WR production with Ryan Tannehill and Jalen Hurts, it's not like he has Joe Burrow throwing him the ball. And I struggle to imagine a WR more taylor made for Brady's strengths.
Did Hurts’ 2023 season return him to the lower tier of quarterbacks? This is at least the second time I’ve seen him compared to chopped liver.
Hard to say, but he really only has 1 year of his 3 as a starter that he was a good passer, the other 2 he was probably below average to average at best as a passer. He brings value with his legs as well though, but as a passer.... probably more likely that he's nothing special than anything else.
I think he's very limited as a passer, even though he's good at what he does well. To me he's carried by scheme and personnel to a much higher degree than most, if not all, other entrenched franchise QBs. Didn't mean it as this great slight, just to show that AJ Brown has had elite production without (in my view) elite QB play around him.
