- City has two bad baseball teams...one has at least a plausible excuse (injuries), but the other is just bad.
- Red Sox series was clearly indicative of who the Yankees are - mismatched group that doesn't play well together, especially now that Damon and Teixeira are not carrying the offense and Cabrera has come down to earth
- Enough of Tomko - understand that Sabathia left early, but Tomko can't do the job...dreadful, overmatched.
- Ugly Yankee team, nothing likable about it - overpriced, old, misplaced, not fun to watch
- Shut down by mediocre Marlins team
- Who knows with Sabathia...no idea what his comments about 'not coming out if it's September' means...whole team is peculiar and not built to play in the NL parks because of shoddy defense
- Yankees simply not in the class of the Sox, despite what some 'clueless' callers think --- Sox 15 games over .500, done with West Coast, etc., while the Yanks owe their record to one good run
- Here comes Tampa Bay - every bit as capable of the Yanks of fighting for a wild card spot
- Sick of looking at this Yankee team...everyone made a big deal out of that run, but the Yankees have the same glaring holes as in past years.
