I have every intention of waking up in five hours for Brighton's ridiculous 5:30 a.m. MDT kickoff at the Amex against Spurs, but I figured I'd start the thread early just in case.
Brighton is showing signs of ambition and creativity under new boss Graham Potter, but the goals haven't followed. Possession and passing stats are all well above last season's brush with relegation. They are generally playing three in the back and two up front, which lately has not included old donkey Glenn Murray. Spendy Belgian Leandro Trossard hurt his groin (ouch!) over the last international break and is expected back after this next one. He was impressive early in the season and I'm hopeful the goals will come when he returns.
Spurs are reeling, but I don't have to tell you that. Brighton is punching up here, but it's a good chance to try to nick a point or three at home.
