Not if they are going to Robinson who appears pretty cooked. I guess it is possible he gets back to 80% of what he once was but he's still not nearly as explosive as Rham.
This one is a bit puzzling to me after they drafted 2 RBs last year and should be able to get a quality rb in the 4th or 5th this year at a fraction of the cost.
I'll admit I've been a Robinson fan since Illinois State. I've had him on our SoSH Dynasty FF league since he came into the league until midway through last season when I finally had to drop him. He's never had elite speed, he's built like a bowling ball (5'9, like 220+), but he's productive, finds holes, and is a very good receiver. Way better with a lead blocker in front of him that he can hide behind, but he has really good vision. He's also good in pass pro.
I think he's a good third down back, and really good insurance for all 3 guys Rham/Strong/K. Harris. If he gets the little burst he had before the achilles injury back, he's a really good change of pace/guy to give your starter a breather. I like this move, while also hoping we don't need to see him be a starter at any point. He can also double as a goal line guy if BB isn't thrilled with Rham putting a couple on the ground late in the season.
