Rare missed opportunity to send Marchand to the penalty box. Refs will be kicking themselves later.
I think something hit his shield and drove it down toward his upper lip, but tough to tell. There was a stick on the backend I was trying to track.
No injury, no penalty, most of the hit was through the chest. Probably have him drawn and quartered, with his body parts sent to the four corners of Canada. As a warning.
The elbow appeared extended but not elevated. A penalizable play but not a suspendable one for every other player in the league. Being this is the Department of Player Safety and Marchand, I expect Nova Scotia to be razed to the ground and Ullmark fined $5,000.
Never realized that Forbort’s total inability to play the puck with a hockey stick would be such a limiting factor.
Forbort has been on the ice for either 3 or 4 of the Kings goals today.

I get that not every player is going to have McDavids speed, or Ovi’s shot, or Leon’s passing…
but when you’re physically limited in your abilities, you should at least be a smart hockey player.
Forbort is not even that.
