I also believe that since they disabled the ability to setup Gmail accounts as exchange accounts (at least the free type, i think paid business accounts still can), the Gmail app is the only way to get push email with gmail.

On my old droid phone I could select multiple people to send a text to then select either individual message or group text.  It looks like if I select multiple people on the iPhone its automatically a group text.  Any way that I could change that if I had to send the same message to different people?
