Greetings from downtown Liverpool, where I’m enjoying a pint while Mrs O and Teen O do something else. That’s Lime Street Station.

Bad moon rising over Goodison, the transfers, finances, ownership situation, injuries and on the pitch performance are all shit. But we’re here goddammit.

Chelsea and the Hatters tonight, get those picks and lineups in.

I'll have to get some advice from you, I'll be in Liverpool for a couple days in late October, probably won't be able to catch a game but plan on taking the Anfield and Goodison tours.

A Goodison tour might substantially increase their budget for transfers in the Championship next summer (unless an exception is made for winter relegation).

Caicedo falls over and gives the ball away, not one for the highlight reel.

That said it's gonna be a long night for Luton.

Sterling weaves through the hapless Hatter's defense to thread a ball home for the first goal.

Chelsea fans will take this as a sure fire sign that they are back and back big.

Taking the Goodison tour Sunday.

Highly recommend: fly to Manchester and take train from Manchester Airport to Liverpool Lime Street, about 80 minutes, and stay at the Holiday Inn which is literally across the street. Easy peasy, snack in the middle of town, and the Holiday Inn has a relaxed, friendly scouser vibe which suits the city.

so...when do we start talking about Chilwell's gambling rumors? What type of pass was that at the 6 yd line??? Did he bench himself in FPL?

Son is not himself. He usually shoots that in the box, not passes wider.

As I type it, he makes a nice little pass for the hockey assist.

Good news for Adams is that Bournemouth really need him. He’s gonna play a lot.

Interesting starting lineup for Arsenal today.

Martinelli Trossard Saka
Havertz Rice Odegaard
Kiwior Saliba Rice Party
Ramsdale

Jesus is back in the lineup starting on the bench. Kiwior starting at LB for the suspended Tomiyasu and Zinchenko is on the bench.

I'm excited for Trossard starting up front as I like him there more than Nketiah. I love how he and Martinelli can seamlessly switch between wing and the number 9 spot to mess with defenses.

Becker isn't starting again today, which has me worried he gone. But Union with another quick goal to start this match too! This time from Gosens.

ESPN is screwing up and delivering this match without commentary and it kind of kicks ass actually.

Welp I'm about to hit airplane mode since I have two games at once to watch and only one reality at a time.

It has been great. I would like to have heard some commentary about Aaronson.

And fuck.
Was that a yellow for the foul and a yellow for kicking the ball, or a yellow for kicking the ball and a yellow for dissent? Commentator would have been helpful there honestly.

I think that was a second yellow for a foul that the Darmstadt guy deserves an Academy Award for. But I'm sure the dissent didn't help.

Ah, two separate incidents, I was confused by commentary-less replay showing them back to back.

Forest will do well to get something from this match. They've been penned in since they went two up. Utd with all the momentum now it's 1-2.

Was not to enthusiastic about Viera coming in, but he has looked great with the ball at his feet and draws a penalty that Saka converts easily.

Partey looked like crap all game, not just the initial goal given up. Not sure it's the position or what.

Wasn't the pass back by Saka? Not sure how one can blame that one on Partey. I think his passing has been pretty good so far.

Second goal with a Fullham player down.. Could seemingly barely lift his arm when getting checked out after, but then immediately back on. Don't really feel bad for them given how many times they'd time wasted before that.

Think both teams have a reason to complain with this ref. Both managers have been booked now.
