Why was that bump in the back a foul and the three Chelsea ones before that not? VAR will be the story, but game management failure by the ref is what happened.
Spurs are still trying to press with a high line while down to 10. That's an, um, interesting choice.
The only real problem with VAR in this half is that the offside reviews take way too long. If they used automated offside like at the World Cup it would take 10 seconds and not be an issue.
The rest of it was generally correct. Sterling's goal was handball and Romero can't really complain about the red card. If there's a problem, it's that Michael Oliver is missing everything happening in front of him the first time around.

Spotting Chelsea up two players may actually give them a chance to score, but I still wouldn’t put money on it.
It was a bunch of generally correct calls farcically arrived at and the game was overcooked by horrible game management.

Michal Oliver is widely regarded as the best PMGOL has to offer. I think that speaks for itself .
