Terrible defending all the way around, first by Aurier to let Mane run free, then by Rodon and Doherty to play Mane onside, then by Dier and Lloris to allow Firmino to score. Calamitous.
At least they didn't collide and injure each otherThat was comedy from Lloris and Dier.
Surely nothing can go wrong allowing this perfectly reachable ball bounce through the six yard box...
To be fair, it probably would help Tottenham if Dier went off injured. At least they didn't collide and injure each other
They tried again. At least they didn't collide and injure each other
What difference does that make? Even if it was a foul, you award a free kick or play advantage, it's not free permission to handle the ball.No talking about the defender with his arms wrapped around the player?
It's really brutal- and the problem then is that while it could be a good thing if done well, it's done so poorly that people want to scrap the whole thing, which isn't ideal either.Way late to the party, but I came to say that I’ve about had it with VAR. My overall excitement for this season has been greatly diminished by the continual horseshit.
There is no possible way you can call Son offside based on the evidence they used. That was a textbook example of how the players exceed the framerate and how arbitrary the frame selection is for the pass. It’s complete and utter garbage.
Liverpool should have been awarded a foul for Dier’s manhandling of Firmino, which was occurring before he handled the ball. Call back the goal for the handball, but how the hell is it justifiable that it ends in a Spurs free kick?
There is no reason VAR has to be this bad. None.
