The forwards have to do a better job getting to the net on these defensemen. It’s on Marchand, Pastrnak, Bergeron, DeBrusk, Krejci. They’ve gotta want it at the faceoff dot, on the wall, and especially going to the net.
I hate it about both of them lol. Stop being so damn proud, it doesn't pay off.Wait a second are you talking about Cassidy or Stevens?
Important point. Bruins definitely slowing down as the series wears on. Something pretty drastic needs to change NOWThe Blues have worn this team down to hamburger. They're so gassed they can't execute basic shit like handling the puck and clearing the zone or winning face offs.
Then get called for really violent penalties.Only problem is..for some reason they're getting called for really weak penalties.
Seriously. The two most important jobs for NBA and NHL coaches are dealing with egos to get those great players to buy into the team concept, and working the refs.I hate it about both of them lol. Stop being so damn proud, it doesn't pay off.
cuz they are refereesThe disgusting part is when Krejci went to the ref to argue at the end of the second period, the ref argued back that it wasn't a penalty. How could one see that play, see the resultant scoring opportunity it created and not at least say to Krejci that they missed it or something.
They’ll call every similar hit/play by the BruinsBlues just have no fear that A) a penalty will be called or B) one of their guys will be put in danger of having his brain scrambled.
One of the two needs to start happening.
This is undoubtedly true. But poor 2nd periods have been pretty normal. So have strong 3rds.It’s not all refs. It’s some, but Bs got outplayed that period pretty clearly. Having issues clearing the puck out of their end. Can’t get the puck in the zone clean. Power play is a joke.
It’s not all refs. They need to step up the play
DJ Bean?Who is the clown on NBC sports Boston with the Kenny G hair? He said perron’s interference shouldn’t have been a penalty. Has this guy ever watched a fucking hockey game before?
Agree. If someone took run at Tarasenko or O’reilly I think a lot of this shit stops.Blues just have no fear that A) a penalty will be called or B) one of their guys will be put in danger of having his brain scrambled.
One of the two needs to start happening.
I want to believe the latter. The refs who get to this point are proud as hell, and I think that leads to them doubling down when they get blowback on a call. Unfortunately, when you have guys like Steve Kozari as the 'best' you are setting up for a shitty productDoes the nhl want the “last to first” story so they can sell more tickets to shitty teams next January? Or is it just typical Nhl ref incompetence?
Absolutely. The problem isn’t that they’re calling nothing, the problem is that there’s different thresholds for the two teams. They’ll call every similar hit/play by the Bruins
Krug and the Friar seem to be the only ones making their hits count.Agree. If someone took run at Tarasenko or O’reilly I think a lot of this shit stops.
Compared to other Blues plays,it was very surprising that they called this a penalty. There was a vicious headshot uncalled and numerous stick and arm grabs. Then they randomly call Perron for interference.Who is the clown on NBC sports Boston with the Kenny G hair? He said perron’s interference shouldn’t have been a penalty. Has this guy ever watched a fucking hockey game before?
Not in the Stanley Cup it won't. StL has been rewarded for this style, with their lack of skill and depth, it's the only way they can win, they won't stop ever.Agree. If someone took run at Tarasenko or O’reilly I think a lot of this shit stops.
He’s doing the series isn’t he? Thought he had game 3 (the offside review call) and will probably get 6 I would thinkI want to believe the latter. The refs who get to this point are proud as hell, and I think that leads to them doubling down when they get blowback on a call. Unfortunately, when you have guys like Steve Kozari as the 'best' you are setting up for a shitty product
I wish Wes McCauley were calling this series, I think he yanked a hamstring though
It’s because the guys that work for the league are consistently surrounded by Leafs homers in the GTA. They don’t want to deal with the backlash all summer if the Bruins win.Does the nhl want the “last to first” story so they can sell more tickets to shitty teams next January? Or is it just typical Nhl ref incompetence?
Even if for some dumbass reason they wanted that story line it would make no sense to gift game 5. They'd want this to go 7. Occam's Razor points to this just being more the general incompetence of the referees.Does the nhl want the “last to first” story so they can sell more tickets to shitty teams next January? Or is it just typical Nhl ref incompetence?
Shit is he? I thought he pulled his hamstring in the WCF and was out for the rest of the playoffs. Wasn't listening to audio for g3 in the air so may be wrong obviouslyHe’s doing the series isn’t he? Thought he had game 3 (the offside review call) and will probably get 6 I would think
Maybe for the best. They have been pinned in the zone any time he’s had to play the puck.Joey Mac says Chara hasn't appeared on the ice yet for the 3rd.
