At his age, it's no big surprise. Good thing he got that big contract when he did!
A's lose two starters, lead the league in blown saves and have key hitters slumping but get off to a strong start as a team. OK, you kind of could say who have they played, and next they get Houston for three at home, but Bob Melvin must have something to do with it again this year.soxhop411 said:
Josh Reddick could be optioned to Triple-A Sacramento to make room for the return of Craig Gentry (back) from the disabled list.
The A's have yet to officially make any moves, but it's notable that Reddick is absent from the lineup for a second straight day Friday while Sam Fuld is playing again. Reddick is off to a rotten start this season after last year's disappointment, picking up just three singles in his first 29 at-bats. Apr 11 - 5:13 PM

Whenever I hear Kielty's name, I remember him hitting a home run on the only World Series pitch he ever saw.crystalline said:Bobby Kielty's Lancaster team played Tracy McGrady's Sugar Land team the past few days. Kielty is 0 for 8 with a FC so far in only two games.
With that wonderful red hair rounding the bases. That was fun.ToeKneeArmAss said:Whenever I hear Kielty's name, I remember him hitting a home run on the only World Series pitch he ever saw.

.http://www.sportsinjuryalert.com/2014/04/rangers-injury-updates-adrian-beltre.html#.U12PDlf683kHe's not too far off from game action but even once he's ready, he's signed to a minor league deal, so there's no reason to believe the Rangers are planning to use him in the Major League bullpen. He'll have to prove himself at Triple-A before given another chance in the big leagues

Good for him. I'd still take 2013 over having him back though. Especially since it'd come with Crawford's .501 OPS.soxhop411 said:9 HR for A-gon
